Top MCP servers for marketing and SEO
The 18 most useful MCP servers for marketers, from Search Console, GA4 and PostHog to Ahrefs, ad platforms, HubSpot, Apollo and Zapier, with a real run, setup and prompts to try

Most marketing questions take an afternoon of exports. Which pages lost traffic and why? Which campaign brought customers, not clicks? Which ads burn money? With these MCP servers connected, you ask Claude and it pulls the data itself, joins it across tools and answers with numbers.
We picked the 18 most useful in October 2026 by GitHub stars, official launches and visitors on PulseMCP, and ran Search Console on paralect.com. PulseMCP is a public directory of MCP servers that estimates how many people visit each one every week.
They follow the order of the work: measure, make content, buy ads, work leads, automate the rest.

Hosted servers (Ahrefs, Semrush, Canva, Meta, HubSpot, Attio, Apollo, Intercom) take one click in claude.ai → Settings → Connectors, and then also work in Claude Code. The Google ones run on your machine and need a Google Cloud project, so ask a developer for 15 minutes once.
Looking for Exa, Firecrawl, Perplexity or Apify? They now live in Top MCP servers for web data, with the real runs: market research, competitor pages, AI search answers and social scraping.

Analytics and SEO

1. Google Search Console

The most popular Search Console server gives Claude your real search data: clicks, impressions, positions and queries per page, period comparisons, URL inspection and sitemaps. It's free, and it's where every SEO question should start.
We asked which paralect.com pages lost the most clicks in the last 28 days. Claude compared both periods, pulled the queries behind each drop and found a different cause for each page: one lost rankings, one lost clicks while ranking higher, one stopped matching what people search for:
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add gsc -e GSC_OAUTH_CLIENT_SECRETS_FILE=/path/client_secrets.json -- uvx mcp-search-console
Watch out: Search Console data lags 2–3 days, so leave the last two days out of comparisons. Claude did that on its own in our run.

2. Google Analytics

Google's official GA4 server runs reports, funnels and realtime queries in plain language. Ask about channels, landing pages or conversions, and Claude builds the report you'd otherwise click together in Explorations.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add analytics-mcp -e GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS=PATH_TO_CREDENTIALS_JSON -e GOOGLE_PROJECT_ID=YOUR_PROJECT_ID -- pipx run analytics-mcp
Watch out: it's read-only and local only. Google labels it experimental.

3. PostHog

PostHog's official server answers questions with your event data: trends, funnels, retention, SQL queries, experiment results and survey summaries. It also covers feature flags and error tracking.
A marketer can check a launch, a campaign's sign-ups or a pricing test without waiting for someone to build the dashboard. Sign-in routes you to the US or EU region automatically.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add --transport http posthog https://mcp.posthog.com/mcp
Watch out: the answer is only as good as your event names. Ask Claude to show the query it ran before you share the number. Mixpanel and Amplitude have their own official servers if your events live there.

4. Ahrefs

Ahrefs' hosted server puts Site Explorer, Keywords Explorer, backlinks and SERP data into the chat. It's the one for competitor research: what they rank for, who links to them, what changed.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add ahrefs https://api.ahrefs.com/mcp/mcp -t http
Watch out: every call spends API units from your plan, and big pulls spend them fast. Ask for top 50, not everything.

5. Semrush

Semrush's server covers the same ground with its own data: domain overview, organic research, keyword ideas, competitors, backlinks and traffic estimates, plus read-only access to your position tracking and site audits.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add semrush https://mcp.semrush.com/v2/mcp -t http
Watch out: it needs a Pro plan or higher with API units, and the included 50,000 units go quickly. Pick Ahrefs or Semrush, whichever you already pay for.

6. DataForSEO

DataForSEO is the SEO data most tools are built on, sold per API call. Its MCP gives Claude live Google results, search volumes, keyword difficulty, backlinks, on-page audits and AI-answer mentions with no subscription.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add --transport http dataforseo https://mcp.dataforseo.com/v3/mcp
Watch out: it exposes 4 generic tools, so Claude reads the API docs to find the right endpoint each time. It works, but it's slower than Ahrefs or Semrush, and every call costs money.

Content

7. YouTube Transcript

This community server pulls a YouTube video's captions into the chat, with its title, channel, views and publish date. Give it a link, a Shorts URL or a video ID. No key, no account, no cost.
It turns a webinar, a competitor's demo or a podcast episode into a brief, a list of quotes or a draft post in a minute.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add youtube-transcript -- npx -y @kimtaeyoon83/mcp-server-youtube-transcript
Watch out: it reads captions through YouTube's unofficial endpoints, so it breaks when YouTube changes them. Auto-generated captions get names and numbers wrong, so check quotes against the video before you publish.

8. Canva

Canva's full page sits with the design MCP servers, but it's a core marketing tool, so it stays here too.
Canva's server turns research into assets in the same chat: social graphics, ad variations, one-pagers and webinar banners from your brand kit, resized for every channel and exported as PNG or PDF.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add --transport http canva https://mcp.canva.com/mcp
Watch out: generated designs usually need a pass in Canva before they go out. Resizing needs Canva Pro.

9. Unsplash

Unsplash has no official server. This community one covers the whole Unsplash API and follows its two rules: credit the photographer and track each download. Every photo comes with a credit line in plain text and HTML.
It picks cover images for blog posts and fills landing page and deck drafts with real photos, credit included. Register an app at unsplash.com/developers for the Access Key.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add unsplash --env UNSPLASH_ACCESS_KEY=your_access_key --env UNSPLASH_APP_NAME=your_app_name -- npx -y @hanoak/unsplash-mcp-server
Watch out: new Unsplash apps get 50 requests an hour, fine for a team. Don't let Claude re-host images or skip download tracking: Unsplash's API rules require both.

Ads

10. Google Ads

Google's official Ads server lets Claude query your accounts in GAQL, the Ads query language, without you knowing it exists. Ask about wasted spend, CPA changes or Quality Score in plain words.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add google-ads -e GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS=... -e GOOGLE_PROJECT_ID=... -e GOOGLE_ADS_DEVELOPER_TOKEN=... -- pipx run --spec git+https://github.com/googleads/google-ads-mcp.git google-ads-mcp
Watch out: it's read-only, so it finds the waste but can't pause anything. Getting a developer token approved is the slowest part of the setup.

11. Meta Ads

Meta opened its own Ads MCP in beta in April 2026, with 29 tools for insights, anomalies, dataset quality and campaign changes. Before that, Pipeboard's server (above) was the standard, and it's still the one most tutorials use.
Add https://mcp.facebook.com/ads as a custom connector in claude.ai, or Pipeboard's https://meta-ads.mcp.pipeboard.co/.
Watch out: new campaigns are created paused, which is what you want. Meta's beta is rolling out gradually, so your account may not have it yet.

CRM and leads

12. HubSpot

HubSpot's official server gives Claude your CRM, campaigns and content. It searches and updates contacts, companies and deals, reads campaign attribution and email analytics, and drafts landing pages, emails and blog posts.
Claude acts with your own HubSpot permissions and asks before every write. The easiest setup is the claude.ai connector, added once by a HubSpot Super Admin. For Claude Code directly, create an MCP connector in HubSpot under Development → MCP Connectors and pass its client ID.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add --transport http --client-id YOUR_CLIENT_ID --client-secret --callback-port 8080 hubspot https://mcp.hubspot.com
Watch out: writes change real records, so read what Claude is about to change. Attribution reports cover closed-won deals only.

13. Attio

Attio's official server has 42 tools for records, lists, notes, tasks, meetings, call recordings, emails and reports. You sign in with your Attio account, and Claude sees what your Attio user sees. It's included on every Attio plan, Free too.
Your team asks about the pipeline, logs notes after calls and creates follow-up tasks without opening Attio.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add --transport http attio https://mcp.attio.com/mcp
Watch out: write tools ask first, so read what's about to change. Limits are per workspace, including 300 searches a minute, so big batch jobs will hit them.

14. Apollo

Apollo's official server, launched in February 2026, searches people and companies, enriches contacts with email and phone, reads job postings and adds contacts to sequences. It works on any Apollo plan, free included.
It's a prospecting desk for sales and founders: build a lead list, research an account before a call, load the right people into a sequence.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add --transport http apollo https://mcp.apollo.io/mcp
Watch out: search is free, but enrichment spends credits: 1 for an email, 8 more when a mobile phone comes back. Adding contacts to a sequence can start real emails, so approve those writes yourself.

15. Intercom

Intercom's official server searches conversations and contacts, reads full threads, looks up companies and works with Help Center articles. It covers US and EU workspaces.
It's feedback analysis on demand: what customers complained about this week, which accounts asked for a feature, which questions the Help Center doesn't answer.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add --transport http intercom https://mcp.intercom.com/mcp
Watch out: searches return 5 results by default and 150 at most per page, so ask for a date range and a sample first. EU workspaces use https://mcp.eu.intercom.com/mcp.

Automation

16. Zapier

Zapier's official server reaches actions in 9,000+ apps through one endpoint, and Zapier handles each app's sign-in. Claude finds and enables the actions it needs during the conversation.
It's the quick way to reach the long tail of marketing apps with no MCP of their own: sheets, calendars, chat, CRMs.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add --transport http "Zapier-MCP" https://mcp.zapier.com/api/v1/connect
Watch out: each successful call uses 2 Zapier tasks. The free plan includes 100 tasks a month, paid plans start at $19.99 a month.

17. Composio

Composio connects Claude to Gmail, Slack, Notion, Linear, HubSpot and hundreds more apps through one server, with OAuth handled. You create a session per user and Claude acts as that user.
In Claude Code, it gives you many apps without adding a separate MCP for each. Create a session with the Composio SDK first; it returns the MCP URL.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add --transport http composio "YOUR_SESSION_MCP_URL" --headers "X-API-Key:YOUR_COMPOSIO_API_KEY"
Watch out: Claude acts as you, so keep sends and deletes behind your approval. The free tier covers 100,000 calls a month, then plans start at $29.

18. Telnyx

Telnyx's official server sends SMS, places voice calls and looks up phone numbers through the whole Telnyx API.
Use it for appointment reminders, ETA texts and checking which numbers on a list are mobile before outreach. SMS runs about $0.004 per message, with a trial to start.
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add --transport http telnyx https://api.telnyx.com/v2/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TELNYX_API_KEY"
Watch out: one generic tool can call any endpoint, including buying numbers, so use a scoped API key. US SMS needs 10DLC registration before real traffic.

Combine them

The real gain comes from asking across tools in one prompt, which no single dashboard does:
  • GSC + GA4: "Which pages lost search clicks this month, and did their sign-ups drop too?"
  • Ahrefs + GSC: "Which competitor keywords do we already rank 8–20 for? Those are the quick wins."
  • Google Ads + HubSpot: "Which campaigns spent the most last quarter, and which brought closed-won revenue?"
  • Intercom + PostHog: "Customers complain about onboarding. Where exactly do they drop off in the funnel?"
  • YouTube Transcript + Canva: "Pull the 5 best quotes from our webinar and turn each into a LinkedIn graphic."
  • Apollo + Zapier: "Find 20 target accounts hiring sales reps and add them to the 'Outbound' Google Sheet."

Also worth knowing

  • Klaviyo: email and SMS flows, mostly for ecommerce.

Which to install first

  • Everyone: Search Console and Google Analytics. Free, and they answer most questions. Add PostHog if your product events live there.
  • SEO tool: connect the one you pay for, Ahrefs or Semrush. No subscription? DataForSEO.
  • Content: YouTube Transcript and Unsplash, free. Canva for finished graphics.
  • Paid ads: Google Ads and Meta Ads, read-only, for a weekly waste check.
  • CRM and leads: the CRM you use, HubSpot or Attio. Apollo for prospecting, Intercom for what customers say.
  • Automation: Zapier for apps with no MCP of their own, Composio to act in your own Gmail and Slack, Telnyx to text customers.
