The 8 most popular MCP servers for product managers and founders, Jira, Notion, Slack, Linear, Google Workspace, Stripe, Granola and Asana, with setup and prompts to try
A product manager's day is spent moving context between tools: a request in Slack becomes a ticket in Linear, a call in Granola becomes a spec in Notion, a churn question becomes a Stripe query and an update for the team. These MCP servers let Claude do the moving. It reads from one tool and writes to the next, with the real data and links.
We ranked the 8 most popular by monthly searches, GitHub stars and visitors on PulseMCP (October 2026). PulseMCP is a public directory of MCP servers that estimates how many people visit each one every week. All are hosted by the vendor: you connect each one in a minute and sign in in the browser.
Most of these are one click in claude.ai โ Settings โ Connectors, and then they work in Claude Code and Claude Desktop too. Claude can only see what your account can see.
1. Atlassian (Jira + Confluence)
Atlassian's official Rovo MCP server connects Jira and Confluence: JQL search, issues, transitions and pages. It's the most searched MCP in this category, because most product teams still live in Jira.
Terminal
Loading editor...
claude mcp add --transport http atlassian https://mcp.atlassian.com/v2/mcp
Watch out: it's Cloud only, and every call spends Rovo credits from your company's shared pool. On Server or Data Center, use the community mcp-atlassian instead.
2. Notion
Notion's hosted server searches your workspace, reads and creates pages, and queries databases. Claude can write a spec into your template, rank a feature-request database or collect open questions from comments.
Terminal
Loading editor...
claude mcp add --transport http notion https://mcp.notion.com/mcp
Watch out: search returns at most 50 results, and very large pages may load only partly. Search across connected apps like Slack and Drive needs a Business plan with Notion AI.
3. Slack
Slack's official server searches public and private channels, reads threads, posts messages and creates canvases, as you. It's how a feature request mentioned in passing turns into a ticket with the whole discussion attached.
Terminal
Loading editor...
claude mcp add --transport http slack https://mcp.slack.com/mcp
Watch out: a workspace admin has to approve it first. Ask before you plan a workflow around it.
4. Linear
Linear's hosted server covers issues, projects, cycles, documents and comments. It's fast and simple, and it pairs with every other server here as the place where work ends up.
Terminal
Loading editor...
claude mcp add --transport http linear https://mcp.linear.app/mcp
Watch out: it doesn't cover admin work like workflows and team settings. For a look-but-don't-touch setup, use https://mcp.linear.app/mcp/readonly.
5. Google Workspace
Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Calendar hold most of a team's context. Claude.ai has built-in connectors for Gmail, Calendar and Drive, which is the fastest way in. For Docs, Sheets and more control, the community server above covers all of Workspace, and Google's own servers are in developer preview.
The easiest setup: claude.ai โ Settings โ Connectors โ Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive.
Watch out: emails can contain instructions aimed at AI, and Google warns about it. Don't let Claude act on an inbox without reviewing what it plans to do.
6. Stripe
Stripe's official hosted server reads customers, subscriptions and invoices. For a product team, that answers billing questions without a finance export: who pays for which plan, which subscriptions churned and which invoices failed.
It can also create coupons, payment links and refunds. Refunds wait for a human to confirm before Stripe runs them. The server is free; you pay normal Stripe fees.
Terminal

claude mcp add --transport http stripe https://mcp.stripe.com/
Watch out: turn on your client's tool approval so you review each write before it runs. From October 31, 2026, Stripe accepts only OAuth or Agent-tagged API keys, so sign in with OAuth.
7. Granola
Granola records and summarizes your meetings. Its MCP lets Claude search across all of them: what customers asked for, what the team decided, what was promised. Customer calls become research you can query.
Terminal
Loading editor...
claude mcp add granola --transport http https://mcp.granola.ai/mcp
Watch out: the free plan covers your own notes from the last 30 days, without transcripts. Quotes need a paid plan.
8. Asana
Asana's server reads and writes tasks, projects, comments and status updates. It's Linear's job for teams on Asana: notes in, tasks with owners and dates out.
In claude.ai: Settings โ Connectors โ Asana. Claude Code needs an MCP app from Asana's developer console first.
Watch out: unlike Linear and Notion, Claude Code needs your own client ID and secret. The claude.ai connector is the easier path.
Workflows that chain them
The value grows with each server you add, because Claude carries context from one to the next:
Workflow
Servers
Prompt
Request to ticket
Slack โ Linear
"Turn every feature request in #feedback this week into a Linear issue. Merge duplicates."
Calls to roadmap
Granola โ Notion
"Find the top requests across this month's customer calls and add them to the Roadmap database with quotes."
