The Google Analytics MCP is Google's official server for GA4. It uses the Analytics Admin and Data APIs, so Claude can list your properties, run reports, build funnels and read realtime data. Ask about channels, landing pages or conversions, and Claude builds the report you'd otherwise click together in Explorations.
It's read-only and Google labels it experimental. It answers "what happened on the site". For "what happened in search", add Google Search Console; for ad spend, add Google Ads.
Watch out
- Google calls it experimental, so tools and setup may change.
- Credentials must belong to a user with access to the GA4 property, or reports come back empty.
- Answers are only as good as your GA4 setup. Check that key events like sign_up are tracked before you trust the numbers.

The same
pipx run analytics-mcp command works in Gemini CLI, Cursor and other local clients. It runs on your machine, so it isn't a claude.ai connector.
