Get a React engineer who owns the result

Claude Code writes most of the code. Your engineer plans it, reviews it and answers for it

Screens that match the design

Figma to working UI on your component library, responsive and accessible.

UI that stays fast

Data fetching and caching with TanStack Query or your setup, so screens update without full reloads.

Components you can reuse

A small set of shared components instead of copy-paste, so the next screen takes hours to build.

Tests on the flows that pay

End-to-end tests on signup, checkout and the other flows your revenue depends on.

Build on a stack that will scale

Why we pick React, from our tech stack guide

React is the dominant UI library for building interactive web applications. React 19 introduced Server Components, Actions, and use() — shifting toward server-first rendering.

Unmatched ecosystem: thousands of component libraries, mature state management (Zustand, Jotai, TanStack Query), and deep tooling. Powers Meta, Netflix, Airbnb, and most startups.

React fits when

  • Building complex, interactive web applications — React's component model scales well.
  • You need to hire developers easily — React has the largest talent pool and community.
  • You want the broadest ecosystem of third-party libraries, UI kits (shadcn/ui , Radix), and integrations.
  • You're building cross-platform with React Native or targeting multiple rendering targets.

Pick something else when

  • Building a content-heavy site where bundle size matters — Svelte or Astro produce smaller output.
  • You want simpler mental models — React's hooks rules, re-render model, and Server Components add complexity.
  • You prefer template-based syntax over JSX (consider Vue or Svelte).

Test them on a real task first

Before the first full week, your engineer spends 2 days on a task from your backlog. You pay $7 and keep the code

  • Saved through your existing API
  • Works on mobile and desktop

FAQ

What does a React developer do?

They build the interface of your product in React: screens, forms, state and the calls to your API. Ours use AI agents like Claude Code for most of the typing, then review and test every change.

Can they handle the backend too?

Most engineers in the network are full-stack: Node.js, PostgreSQL and the APIs your screens need. Mention the backend in your brief and we match for both.

Do they also build React Native apps?

Some do. If you need a mobile app next to the web app, say so in the brief and we send engineers who have shipped both.

How much does it cost to hire a React developer?

Our engineers charge $30-60 an hour, depending on experience. Full time at 40 hours a week that comes to about $5,000-10,000 a month, with no deposit and no platform fee. On Toptal the same search starts at about $60 an hour, plus a $500 deposit and $79 a month.

How do you vet the engineers?

Every candidate builds and presents a full-stack demo project: a landing page, a web app, a backend and a database with RAG, all with AI agents. Then our CTO, Igor Krasnik, interviews them on technical knowledge, product sense, clear thinking and how they work with a team. Only engineers who pass both are matched with clients.

Can I hire for 20 hours a week or a short project?

Yes. Pick 20 or 40 hours a week in the brief. Billing is weekly, so a 2-week fix and a year-long engagement work the same way: you stop when the work is done.

What if the engineer is not a good fit?

Tell us and we send a replacement from the network. There is no contract to exit and no notice period, since billing is weekly.

Do I talk to the engineer directly?

Yes. They join your Slack and work with you like a member of your team. There is no account manager in between, and you get a written update every day.
