Meta Ads MCP

Track Facebook and Instagram ad performance, spot fatigue and draft campaigns

There are two Meta Ads servers worth knowing. Meta opened its own Ads MCP in beta in April 2026, at mcp.facebook.com/ads, with 29 tools for insights, anomalies, dataset quality and campaign changes. Before that, Pipeboard's server was the standard. It's open source, Pipeboard is a Meta Business Partner, and most tutorials still use it.
Both let Claude read campaign, ad set and ad performance across Facebook and Instagram, find what's wasting budget and draft new campaigns. Pair it with Google Ads for a weekly check across both platforms. To see competitors' ads from the Ad Library, use Apify.

Watch out

  • New campaigns are created paused, which is what you want. Review before you turn anything on.
  • Write access can change live budgets and targeting. Give read-only access unless you need edits.
  • Meta's beta is rolling out gradually, so your account may not have it yet. Pipeboard works today.

Install

In claude.ai, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and enter Meta's https://mcp.facebook.com/ads, or Pipeboard's https://meta-ads.mcp.pipeboard.co/. Sign in with your Meta Business account (or Pipeboard, then Facebook) and pick the ad accounts to share. For Claude Code:
Terminal

Loading editor...

claude mcp add --transport http meta-ads https://meta-ads.mcp.pipeboard.co/
Then run /mcp and sign in. In Cursor, add the same URL to ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Pipeboard also runs servers for Google, TikTok, Snap and Reddit ads under one login.
