Stripe's official hosted server lets your agent search and read customers, subscriptions and invoices, and create coupons, payment links and refunds. It also searches Stripe's docs. Refunds and outbound payments wait for a human to confirm before Stripe runs them. The server is free; you pay normal Stripe fees.
In Claude Code, it answers billing questions and helps you build a Stripe integration with the docs at hand. In your own product, it powers a support agent that looks up a customer's invoices and issues a refund, an admin copilot that creates a 20% coupon for the Pro plan, or a finance view that answers MRR and churn questions.
Watch out
- From October 31, 2026, Stripe accepts only OAuth or Agent-tagged API keys here. Full secret keys get a
401.
- Don't put Stripe in the same toolset as a web-scraping server without human approval.
- Turn on your client's tool approval so you review each write before it runs.
