Vercel MCP is Vercel's official hosted server at
mcp.vercel.com. It shows the agent your projects, deployments, build logs and runtime errors, and it can open protected preview URLs. "The preview failed, fix it" becomes one prompt. It's available on all Vercel plans.It also searches Vercel's docs and queries Web Analytics: visitors, page views and custom events. Sign-in is OAuth, and Vercel only accepts clients it has reviewed, including Claude Code, Claude.ai, Cursor, Codex, VS Code and ChatGPT.
Watch out
- It has 200+ tools, including deploys and billing, with the same access as your Vercel account. Keep tool approval on.
- Logs and page content can carry prompt injections. Review what the agent wants to do before it acts.
- On Next.js 16, also add next-devtools-mcp for the dev server's live errors and routes.
