How we work with vendors and contractors

In Paralect we worked with lots of vendors in marketing, sales, design, development, recruiting, finances. We were discussing some common topics on engagements and partnerships with each of them so we put this page so it will help us to align, if you're selling some service to Paralect.

First engagement

The first contract and project with you is the most important phase where we test each other in work and learn about our working styles.

we sign for 1 month max, no long-term contracts

we agree on measurable metric set as a goal

Communication & status checks

We prefer async way of work with less calls and more assets created.

we collaborate via Slack

you report weekly on progress, based on metrics and assets created

you available daily in Slack (can be async, without real-time chatting)

keep calls minimal: for calls we need to have an agenda and send assigned follow-up items

do random calls if you: want to create some assets together on a call; you want just hangout with no agenda, like coffee break or chatting in a bar

create assets: docs, pages, surveys, ads, creatives. Prefer simpler, shorter assets over long ones. 1-pagers are the best

Work process

Share your work early. We'll collaborate

Ask questions and we'll be available to answer them or review your work in progress. We'll dedicate time to make you succeed and not to end up with slop

Share the work in progress , the earlier you share the better. Especially important during the first month. Don't wait till a call to discuss things

Don't be a "meat proxy" . We all use AI in our work, but we expect you to not share content not validated by you and not owned by you

We understand that good results take time.

What's more important for us than unreal results is to find people with matching energy and style of work. In ideal engagements we learn from each other daily, treat each other as partners and aim to win together.
