Clink is a cross-platform mobile app that automates settling shared expenses in trusted groups, like friends, roommates, and travel companions. It removes the friction of delayed or awkward group payments by using pre-authorized ACH debits, without holding, pooling, or guaranteeing funds.

Mark Rudelman came to Paralect in June 2025 with an idea for a mobile-first fintech platform that simplifies group payments using virtual cards and smart automation. Given the risks around Mark's original virtual-card approach, we began with a one-month discovery phase to build a fully clickable prototype and identify a suitable payment provider. No provider proved to be a good match, so Mark took time to rethink the concept. He returned in January 2026 with an updated approach built on pre-authorized ACH debits and a provider that fit the app's needs. We built a landing page and updated the design to secure the provider's final approval, and officially began development in April 2026.

We finished MVP part 1 in June 2026, paused for a month for legal prep, then resumed and released the app's first version on August 20, 2026, with real users going live. In September 2026, the founder launched the advertising campaign to test the market and gather feedback.
